Strange Running Dreams

This week, by far, is summing up to be the toughtest workout week in preparation for Sehgahunda.  My hill workout on Tuesday was pretty sucky - my legs just felt like lead, and my ankle brace was really annoying (normally it doesn't bother me).  So I bagged that run at about 4 miles, saving myself for what Boots had in store for us on Wednesday (of which we were not aware until later in the evening).

My run on Wednesday went okay.  Thankfully my godson's dad paced me through an hour-long workout: 15 minute warm up, followed by three 10-minute increments of "hard", "harder", and "hardest".  The "hardest" was punctuated with the uphill path that Pete took.  The 15-minute cooldown was a near crawl.

Last night I had one of the oddest running dreams, which I can only attribute to the more time I'm putting in to my training.  I was at one of the Dirt Cheap Trail Series races which started in an open field.  But then the race took us through a small grocery store (I guess that's kind of like single-track), with Neil Diamond's "Cracklin' Rosie" playing overhead.  Seriously?  Who the f**k names a song "Cracklin' Rosie", and why was it in my dream?!?!

Any of you have one of those "out of this world" dreams?
