The Ice Cream Run

I really needed an easy bike ride today.  I didn't want to kill myself on anything really hard, even though I was dealing with that restlessness one gets on their "off" days from running.  Luckily, I had an IOU from my friend Amy to bike for ice cream.  So we met at Genesee Valley Park to go to Schoen Place in Pittsford for some ice cream - goal was for 15-20 miles total:

It's about 7.5 miles from Genesee Valley Park to Schoen Place; it was warm, sunny, nice breeze, and the ice cream was oh-so-tasty.  We both picked Key Lime Pie, and the kiddie cone was a-plenty!

Amy's scoop kept falling off the cone, which got a little messy

...while mine never had the chance!

I *love* the hanging baskets that decorate the village of Pittsford!

about 16 miles down, we hit a path detour at the U of R

Never quite understood this paint job on this apartment building

Corn Hill Landing.  If I was an apartment kind of gal, I would live here!

In all, 21 miles (with map correction due to me forgetting to restart it after a short stop.)  I have a fab bike short tan, too.
